The Saints signed TE Seth Green, OL Barry Wesley and CB Jayden Price from the UFL.
To make room for them, they waived DB Tre Fluellen and RB Xazavian Valladay.
Starting with the departed, I actually thought Fluellen and Valladay had some highlights during camp. Fluellen broke up a pair of passes one day during OTAs, and Valladay made some catches in practices.
In a crowded running back battle, those flashes caught the eye, but there's no actual running of the ball, so it's hard to judge.
Green, Wesley and Price all come over from the UFL.
Green originally signed as a UDFA with the Houston Texans following the 2022 draft. He was also in the Cowboys' camp in 2023. He finished this season with 13 catches for 158 yards and a touchdown for the Arlington Renegades.
Price made his mark with the Renegades as a returner and a defensive back. He had 194 punt return yards and 337 kick return yards.
Wesley played in the XFL before landing in the UFL.
