LANDOVER, Maryland – Alvin Kamara stood at the podium, blood filling up his white pant leg, but it wasn't going to bother his mood. He smiled brightly, allowing the diamonds on the grill covering his teeth to sparkle in the lights.
Why wouldn't he be smiling? Almost everything that could go wrong for this team and the city it represents has gone wrong, and yet they're sitting on a 3-2 record and look poised to go on a run coming out of next week's bye.
